CUS Sustainability’s Green Seal program is a certification system established in 2012 to encourage reduction of environmental impact from CUS events. The Green Seal is awarded based on the demonstration of leadership in waste reduction, resource minimization, and energy reduction. This program is separate from Green Award.

- The Cavalier (August 2013): Sauder’s student-run newspaper gone green with the help of CUS Sustainability! The issues for 2013-14 were printed on recycled paper, and there were less copies as the newspaper is shifting its focus to its online website.
